Probit: full revamp of

While the application was still working quite well, it was severly outdated (desktop application, no mobile access), difficult to maintain and impossible to scale up. Visux was tasked with redesigning the application to align with modern standards. The challenge was amplified by the need for design and development to run concurrently, requiring close collaboration between both development and design teams to stay aligned and ensure the project’s success.

We began with workshops to define user personas, understand the project, and set clear objectives. From there, we developed a sitemap and mapped out user journeys to ensure a smooth experience. Wireframes were created to structure the interface effectively. We crafted moodboards to establish the visual tone, then developed final layouts and a cohesive design system, ensuring consistency across the platform.

Solution

We started with organizing a discovery workshop in event storming format, slightly different than usual as the workshop was also used to define the overall app functionality.

Visux applied a user-centered design approach to understand the needs of Probit’s users. The designs were developed alongside the backend to ensure a smooth integration. Using iterative feedback loops and strong collaboration with the development team, Visux delivered an intuitive and modern interface that significantly improved the user experience while maintaining consistency with Probit’s new technical foundation.

The final product was a sleek, user-friendly application that streamlined property management processes for Probit's clients and their users.

The new design not only modernized the user interface but also helped Probit showcase their expertise in the property management sector, allowing the company to move away from outdated technology and deliver a platform capable of meeting the demands of the future. The collaboration between design and development ensured the smooth delivery of a technically sound, aesthetically polished product.
